It was a day of fun in the sun as Tropicana hosted its fifth signature cycling event, Tropicana go-go-FIT Cycle on Sunday, 28 August 2022. Officiated by Menteri Besar of Selangor, YAB Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, the event was a huge success, drawing more than 900 fitness enthusiasts, families and fun-seekers to Tropicana Aman, Kota Kemuning. Energetic participants came in droves for a 20km fun ride showcasing the township’s 85 acres Central Park, as well as an 80km elite ride to Banting supervised by commissaires from the Malaysian National Cycling Federation.

Fostering healthy lifestyles in the spirit of the Merdeka month, Tropicana go-go-FIT featured fun carnival activities and lucky draws for visitors to enjoy, as well as delicious refreshments and cool drinks at a food truck area. The event also saw the donation of 105 care packs to the underprivileged community by Tropicana Foundation, the Group’s charity arm.

“As a homegrown Malaysian brand, we want to celebrate the unique traits that make us a true community. Through Tropicana go-go-FIT Cycle, we are delighted to bring people from all walks of life together to foster healthy lifestyles, while showcasing Tropicana Aman as a walking and biking community. At the same time, we donated essential food and care packs to assist the underprivileged in and around Kota Kemuning, such as orang asli settlements and children in need. These initiatives underscore the Group’s commitment to Redefining the Art of Healthy Living as well as the Art of Caring. We deeply appreciate the outpouring of support from all our participants and visitors today,” enthused Joanne Lee, Tropicana’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer.
