In conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri festive season, Capri by Fraser, Bukit Bintang supported Tropicana Foundation’s festive bubur lambuk giveaway. Held from 17 April 2023 to 19 April 2023, the initiative spearheaded by the charity arm of Tropicana Corporation Berhad (“Tropicana”) spread cheer to nine charity homes and orphanages across Klang Valley and Selangor.

In addition to 300 packs of the savoury porridge sponsored by Capri by Fraser, Bukit Bintang, the giveaway included essentials such as towels and toothbrushes from Tropicana Foundation. 

Jared Ang, Group Executive Director of Tropicana, shared more on the move: “With Raya as a time for appreciation, renewal and reunion, we are pleased to join hands to give back to the community through this charitable endeavour. We donated packets of bubur lambuk, with the festive traditional treat prepared and packed by Capri by Fraser, Bukit Bintang, along with duit Raya and sundries to support the homes in their daily needs. This is line with Tropicana Foundation’s mantra as we continue Redefining the Art of Caring,” he elaborated.

Distributed ahead of the Raya celebrations, the giveaway proceeded with Tropicana and Capri by Fraser representatives delivering the bubur lambuk to each home. This was followed by a group photo session and goodie bag exchange with the children and caretakers, who were all smiles as they received their treats.

“When we heard about the bubur lambuk drive, we were keen to work with Tropicana to reach out to the underprivileged society during this festive period. We’re happy to be part of this initiative, aligned as it is with our #EnrichingLives focus, and look forward to similar opportunities in the future,” said Michael Lee, General Manager of Capri by Fraser, Bukit Bintang.
