Van Lang Empire Golf Club, Vietnam
At the Van Lang Empire Golf Club, which is currently under construction in the Phu Tho region of northern Vietnam, Greg Norman Golf Course Design has drafted up plans for not one but two 18-hole courses in addition to a golf academy. The Prime and Legend courses, which will debut in September, are being developed over 93 and 75 hectares, respectively. The T&T Group, a privately owned Vietnamese conglomerate with interests in the electrical goods sector, owns the Van Lang Empire Golf Club. In a golfbusinessnews.com report, Greg, said that he feels Vietnam is the ideal spot for golf course designers to make their dreams a reality because of the country’s weather, rivers, hills, hospitable people and distinctive cuisine. He noted that few locations can boast so many positive aspects. Greg added that he has always had a strong belief in using what nature provides us with to create unique golf courses. “At Van Lang Empire Golf Club we have found common ground with the T&T Group when pursuing the philosophy of sustainable development and creating values for the community and society. This is completely in line with the current development trend of the world golf industry,” the 60-something Australian was quoted as saying.

Point Hardy Golf Club, Saint Lucia
Ben Cowan-Dewar, a developer of golf properties whose vision resulted in the establishment of Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs in Nova Scotia, has discovered yet another magnificent piece of land for golf. When Cabot Saint Lucia’s new course opens, it will feature some of the most spectacular golfing in the world.  An experience in Caribbean golf that can’t be matched can be had at the Point Hardy Golf Club, which is situated high above the Atlantic ocean and built around the cliffs and valleys that are a part of Point Hardy’s stunning landscape. Each hole, which was created more by mother nature than by man, takes on the distinctive topography of this wonderful location. The course was designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, and it winds through verdant landscapes, up and over rocky outcrops, and across tropical bays and pristine beaches. Bill and Ben share their thoughts on the project. “As at Cabot Cliffs, we at Coore and Crenshaw are honored to be given the opportunity to work with Ben (Cowan-Dewar) on this truly special site. Our goal is to create a golf course with a sense of enjoyment and interest to complement and hopefully equal the site’s overwhelming natural beauty. If that goal is attained, we believe Cabot Saint Lucia could become one of the world’s most sought out golf destinations. To say the least, we are excited about the possibilities.”

London Airlinks Golf Course
Following an investment of several millions of pounds by Glendale Golf, we are thrilled to share the news that the London Airlinks Golf Course will be opening for business in time for the 2023 golf season. Located in West London, it is designed to meet the standards of the United States Golf Association (USGA) and features undulating fairways, strategic water hazards as well as free-draining greens. Destined to become one of the most popular courses in London, every hole has been meticulously designed, drawing influence from the dunes, burns and bunkers of Scotland’s famous coastal courses. What’s more, views of the impressive London skyline and the city’s well-known monuments serve as a gentle reminder that the metropolis is only a short distance away. In addition to a clubhouse that caters to families, the London Airlinks Golf Course will also have a Toptracer Range with 25 bays as well as a Golf Academy.
