Tropicana Corporation Bhd is developing a five-acre international school campus in its innovative Tropicana Metropark, Subang Jaya development, to be operated by GEMS education, "Building a school with GEMS Education is a sign of our commitment in not just creating harmonious partnerships for the benefit of our customers but ultimately; to also creating ideal and thriving townships that are strategic and holistic in nature. To be completed in 2017, the school will accommodate up to 2,400 students from the ages of three to 18, with the first intake scheduled for September that year it will prepare students for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), AS- and A-Level examinations of the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). A leader in learning, GEMS' educational portfolio spans six programmes, including the British Curriculum and International Baccalaureate, with the specialist developing primary and secondary education services for students from over 150 nationalities.
