Flyover project connecting to Federal Higtiway expected to be ready in 2016

PEMBINAAN Jemerlang Sdn Bhd has been awarded the RM106mil flyover project by Tropicana Corp Bhd to linkTropicana Metropark, located in Subang Jaya, directly to the Federal highway.

"The flyover that will connect Tropicana Metropark to the Federal Highway was conceived as part of our integrated development master plan right from the start. After all accessibility and connectivity is part of our group's development DNA.

"Once the construction is completed, the flyover will not only benefit the residents of Tropicana Metropark but also USJ and Subang Jaya as well,' said Tropicana Corp group CEO Datuk Yau Kok Seng.

Construction of the flyover will begin in the second quarter of 2014 and is expected to be completed in 2016. It will provide even greater connectivity and ease for both Tropicana Metropark and its neighbouring areas.

Subang Jaya Municipal Council president Datuk Asmawi Kasbi witnessed the signing ceremony between Yau and Ong Chin Wooi, project director of Pembinaan Jemerlang.

Tropicana group managing director Edmund Kong; executive director of marketing and sales Pam Loh; and executive director for projects Daniel Teh were also on hand to witness the proceedings.

At the event, which was held at Tropicana Metropark. the property developer also unveiled its new Paloma Serviced Residences show units.

The Paloma show units were designed to inspire visitors with ideas through the use of space, colour, lighting, textures and embellishments.

Tropicana Metropark is an 88-acre integrated development on prime freehold land with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM63bih It offers varied components comprising townhouses, serviced residences, proposed shopfronts, business suites, SoHo, office towers and a shopping mall that will be served by a network of highways,

The heart of this integrated project includes a large green oasis of over nine acres for a Central Park, which features a man-made lake, pedestrian promenade and an F&B strip for Alfresco indulgence.

The first phase of Tropicana Metropark, Pandora Serviced Residences, was launched last year with a successful take-up of 90%. With a GDV of RM365mil, the 627 units of Pandora Serviced Residences offer three design options in two residential towers ?studio, two and three-bedroom units with built-up areas ranging from 600sq ft to l,200sq ft.

Its second phase. Paloma Services Residences has a GDV of RM465mil and comprises two serviced residential towers, which offers a total of 587 units. Tower B of Paloma Serviced Residences is now open for sale and consists 248 units. Sizes of the units range from 609sq ft to 1,309sq ft.
