09 September 2014
For the first time, property developer Tropicana Corporation celebrated its annual Mid-Autumn Festival across three regions in Malaysia - Tropicana Metropark in Subang, Tropicana Danga Bay in Iskandar Malaysia, Johor, and Penang World City in Penang. Adding to the joy were 67 children from two orphanages - Rumah KIDS and Rumah Juara who attended the Tropicana Metropark property gallery. They were presented mooncakes and child-friendly decorative lanterns. The festival had various fun-filled and communal activities that resonated with the company's slogan, "Redefining the Art of Living". The community developer treated its Tropicana Privilege Cardmembers and guests to a tea-making demonstration and tasting session, origami and lantern riddles and mooncakes sampling sessions. The event was enlivened by the Chinese yoyo acts, Chinese orchestra and dances, a sumptuous spread of Asian delicacies and also a special appearance by the Moon Goddess, Chang'e. Pam Loh, executive director of marketing and sales, said: "We are in the business of not only building homes and offices but also creating harmonious communities within secured and lush environments. "With emphasis on customers' needs, we have been innovating and redefining the art of living through the creation of our integrated developments by incorporating residential and commercial components to create thriving townships that are strategically connected." The three property galleries were decorated with colourful lanterns. The guests were delighted to being treated with a door gift of mooncakes and lanterns..
