Further to Dijaya Tropicana Foundation’s first charity dinner held in April donating RM1 million to several charitable organisations, they have generously donated RM100,000 to Batu Pahat Early Intervention Society (PPIA).

During yesterday’s cheque presentation ceremony, witnessed by Dijaya Tropicana Foundation Founder Tan Sri Dato’ Danny Tan and Dijaya Managing Director, the mock cheque of RM100,000 was presented by Dijaya Deputy Managing Director Mr Dickson

Tan to PPIA management committee secretary Mr Tan Chin Yau.

Tan Chin Yau said that PPIA intends to use the donation to fund the construction of a new building for the society’s four centres which cost RM5 million. To date, they have collected RM1 million, still short of RM4 million. He hoped to receive more contributions in order to achieve

the amount required.

“As part of our ongoing charitable efforts, we hope this contribution will go a long way in helping PPIA achieve their objectives to provide better facilities for training more professionals and to help more people,” Dickson Tan said.

The society also appealed to big corporations and private companies for contributions to PPIA as part of their social responsibilities.
