PETALING JAYA: Dijaya Tropicana Foundation recently donated a total of RM1 million to several organisations at its inaugural gala dinner held in Tropicana Golf & Country Resort here.

A mock cheque presentation was held for 11 non-profit organisations comprising the Ti-Ratana Welfare Society, Institute Jantung Negara Foundation, Wushu Federation of Malaysia, Buddhist Tzu-Chi Merits Society and seven Chinese schools that were in need of an infrastructure upgrade.

Guest of honour, MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek, praised Dijaya Tropicana Foundation for its assistance to the communities in need.

Dijaya board members Datin Ivy Tan and Dickson Tan presented he mock cheques to representatives of the beneficiaries. Also present were Tan Sri Danny Tan, Datuk Rohana Mahmood and Diana Tan,

Guests were treated to an exquisite dinner prepared by Spring Garden Chinese restaurant
