Its RM657m luxury condo in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, gains international recognition

Dijaya Corp Bhd outshone scores of hopefuls across the region winning in the Best Residential Highrise category of the Asia Pacific Property Awards (APPA) 2011. The presentation ceremony was held in China's vibrant city of Shanghai last month.

Hosted at Longemont Hotel, the event - in association with Bloomberg Television and Google - attracted hundreds of property professionals from Asia Pacific and Dijaya said it was honoured to be among the winners of such a "hotly contested" competition.

Securing the Best Residential Highrise accolade was its RM657 million golf-front luxury condominium Tropicana Grande in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

In addition to being named the best in the region, the project was also given APPA's highest Five-Star rating for properties in Malaysia.

Dijaya managing director said the recognition is testimony to the company's ongoing endeavour to create much sought-after "Tropicana branded" products that offer buyers more than just properties - contemporary lifestyles.

We are honoured to win these awards and we attribute this success to all employees of Dijaya for their passion, dedication and hardwork, as well as the trust our customers have put in us."

Located on 5.17 acres along Persiaran Tropicana, within the upmarket Tropicana Golf & Country Resort enclave, Tropicana Grande offers 328 luxury units within four blocks of 38 and 39 storeys.

In addition to offering panoramic view of the surrounding golf course greenery, the project boasts the exclusivity of just two units per floor. Priced from RM1.8 million, these come in standard built-up spaces of between 2,383sq ft and 3,666sq ft.

Tropicana Grande also offers a limited number of duplex, penthouse and pool deck units that range in sizes between 4,500sq ft and 6,600sq ft.

According to Dijaya, all units will showcase wide interior spaces, full-height glass windows to enjoy the surrounding views, an attached bathroom in every room and an en suite resort-style Jacuzzi bath for master bedrooms. Selected units boast private lift lobbies and pools.

The luxury units also come with in-built smart home security features and common areas in the fully guarded project are equipped with CCTV systems.

Residents will enjoy access to Tropicana Golf & Country Resort's 350,000sq ft clubhouse - the largest in Malaysia - and the well-maintained 27-hole golf course.

Purchasers are also given Dijaya Privilege Cards which offer value-added benefits with participating merchants. Cardholders will also receive complimentary newsletters to update them on the latest benefits and privileges.

"Tropicana Grande is targeted at high nett worth individuals from across the Klang Valley as well as retirees and empty nesters from the Tropicana area looking to scale down to a more convenient lifestyle.

"It has attracted many investors as well as expatriates looking for a second home," said a Dijaya spokesperson.

The project is conveniently located close to shopping malls such as Tropicana City, The Curve ad 1 Utama, and enjoys convenient access to highways linked to the Bandar Utama locale.

Launched in April last year, more than 50 per cent of the units have been sold.

Tropicana Grande sits on 5.17 acres within the award-winning Tropicana Golf & Country Resort.
