SUBANG JAYA residents can expect some relief from their traffic woes in the near future with the construction of a new fivover that will directly link Tropicana Metropark, Subang Jaya to the Federal Highway.

"The flyover project was conceived as part of our integrated development master plan right from the start,' said Datuk Yau Kok Seng, Croup CEO of Tropicana Corp Bhd.

"Accessibilitv and con-nectivity is part of our group's development DNA. Once construction is completed, the flyover will not onlv benefit residents of Tropicana Metropark, but also those in USJ and Subang Jaya,"

During the official signing ceremony for the project this week, Subang Jaya Town Council president Datuk Asmawi Kasbi said that even though he can't guarantee that the flyover will solve traffic congestion issues in Subang Jaya, it will definitely help to mitigate it.

The constuction, which was awarded to Pembinaan Jemeriang Sdn Bhd, costs RM106 million. Work will begin in the second quarter of 2014 and it is expected to be completed in 2016.

On the same day, Tropicana also unveiled three Paloma Serviced Residenc es show units.

Paloma has a gross development value of KM465 million with two towers and a total of 587 units. Built-ups range from 609sq ft to l,309sq ft. Prices are pegged from RMSOOpsf onwards.

Tower B is now open for sale and consists of 248 units. The new flyover will be a direct link from Tropicana Metropark to the Federal Highway .
