JET SET, GO: Ducati and Tropicana Corporation partner up to offer premium products to a select audience over the weekend

JOHOR BARU: FOLK in the city had a fun time at the event to promote iconic Italian motorcycle brand, Ducati.

Ducati Malaysia and Ducati Johor recently collaborated with developer Tropicana Corporation Bhd to hold the event over the weekend at the Tropicana Danga Bay Sales Gallery in Danga Bay, here.

Several hundred guests turned up over the two days to view the developer's new luxury waterfront units in Phase 2 of Bora Residences.

Food and refreshments were served.

At the same time, Ducati Johor also featured Ducati superbikes and the brand merchandise.

On display was Ducati's new Monster 796 and specialised motorcycles such as the 821 Hypermotard and 821 Hyperstrada. Tropicana Corporation Bhd and Ducati Johor staff advised potential customers on their loans available for their respective products.

Ducati Johor sales advisers were also on hand to assist those interested in the motorcycles.

Phase 2 of Bora Residences is an enhanced residential development in Iskandar Malaysia.

Within the development are 3.2ha of recreational space with integrated facilities and water features amidst lush greenery. The residences come in a variety of designs such as duplex, dual-key concept and penthouse, and some with waterfront views too.

Its proximity to Johor Baru's commercial and business points of interest makes it the ideal, modern city home.

The homes and motorcycles complemented each other as premium products for the same select market.

Ducati Malaysia also held a two-day Ducati Safety Course (DSC) programme on the open space in front of the sales gallery.

The programme was conducted by three veteran riders for the benefit of new Ducati owners in Johor.

The three instructors, Mohammad Shahril Stephen, Azelee Ideris and Jason John, taught the owners the basics of motorcycle ownership, maintenance and riding.

Johor Baru is the third venue for the programme. Ducati Malaysia had organised similar programmes in Petaling Jaya in Selangor and in Penang.

Other highlights of the two-day event included a visit by the Johor Ducati Riders Club.
