If investors bought the share during the break throughout the period at the price of RM1.63, then on black and white, the investors would have made a return of profit of 36 cent or 22%. However, there were also many shares that gained from profit-making. Hence, Dijaya’s shares also faced a similar “sell” pressure. Short-term investors and bargain hunters may adjust the share prices when the shares begin to show profit taking and then hold on tight to their earnings.

DIJAYA Corp Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, Dijaya Tenaga Kimia Sdn Bhd (DTKSB), has entered into a sale of shares agreement with National Aerospace and Defence Industries Sdn Bhd to acquire 12.8 million shares or a 40% stake in Tenaga Kimia Sdn Bhd (TKSB) for RM79.36 million. In an exchange filing yesterday, the company said DTKSB currently hold 33% equity interest in TKSB. DTKSB will pay RM39.63 million in cash and the remaining in the form of real properties currently held. TKSB is involved in the making and selling of explosives, chemicals and blasting accessories. Subsequent to the proposed shares acquisition, DTKSB will hold in aggregate 73% equity interest in TKSB. With TKSB being an indirect 73%-owned subsidiary company of Dijaya subsequent to the proposed shares acquisition, Dijaya will consolidate TKSB's accounts into its group's accounts.
